Gradual , 2008, shading net, mosquito net, plastic net, fishing net, aluminum wire and thread, 300 x 5200 x 600 cm.
Each column: 5oo cm. in height and 60 cm in diameter.

หน่วง, ๒๕๕๒, ผ้าสแลนสีดำ ผ้ามุ้งสีขาว ผ้าโปร่งแข็งสีเหลือง ตาข่ายพลาสติกสีดำ เอ็นตกปลา ลวดอลูมิเนียม และด้าย, ขนาด ๓๐๐ x ๕๒๐๐ x ๖๐๐ ซม.
ขนาดของเสาแต่ละต้น ความสูง ๕๐๐ ซม. และเส้นผ่านศูนย์กลาง ๖๐ ซม.

Concept: According to Gradual is created under the theme of imagined future Bangkok,

I try to create a site-specific installation which slows down the speed of life in Bangkok.

A walking route on the ramp between 7th and 8th floor is designed to make viewers

reach the end of the ramp as slow as possible.

Sculptural posts are put through out the ramp so that viewers have to circle around them,

and their visual sight is limited; making it inevitable that they slow down.

Concept: The pictures of each Manga or Japanese comics and print cartoons have been removed.

In general, we tend to look at the images and read words from the Manga.

The book has been viewed only in pictures and words,

not in the layout where a manga artist designs and arranges, (in addition to the narrative). Without any characters or scenes in these Manga; the books appear to be deserted buildings.

Since the work is displayed at the outer wall of the gallery,

viewer can inspected the piece all the time beside the gallery hours.

At the end of the exhibition,

most books are damaged after one month of being display in the public.
